President and Chief Executive Officer
Sam co-founded the Company and has served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer since its inception in 1989. He was employed by few leading construction companies in a variety of project level and management positions from 1975 to 1989. Sam oversees day to day corporate operation and provides strategic guidance in achieving success by delivering projects on-time and on budget. Sam received a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
Executive Vice President, President Commercial Division
Mac, co-founder of the company, serves as the Executive Vice President since the inception of the company and now as the president of the commercial division. Mac provides subject matter expert inputs for estimation, project management and site design. He is also instrumental in public relations, sales and marketing where he provides and maintains leads for multi-million dollar projects.
Matt joined the company in May of 2012 and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining AFCO Construction, Matt served as the Director of Operations at Baldwin Park Health Center and Executive Vice President at Option Software Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for the company operations and strategic direction. Matt has also held product and project management positions at Cortiss LLC, a software technology company. He holds a BS in Electrical engineering from the CSUN, MBA from University of Phoenix and a project management certificate from UCLA. Matt also holds a degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering from the Technical University of Tehran.
